  • Yes, all students will receive music via email to print out and prepare prior to the first day.

  • A recording is an integral part of the application process and is used to place students in an ensemble best suited to their skill level.  All students are required to submit a video.

  • The first 7 days are filled with rehearsals, performance class opportunities, and some downtime during breaks for students to get to know each other, perhaps play a quick soccer game and recharge for the remaining coaching session of the day.

  • JCM accepts students with a wide range of abilities and skillsets. It is always our goal to include all interested students who apply by the application deadline.

  • Scholarships (partial/full) are available to students with limited financial resources, or to families with extenuating circumstances. It is our goal to make JCM available to any and all students and we work hard to make this possible. Final scholarship decisions will not be made until all applications have been received. Letters of recommendation from the school director and/or private lesson teacher may be requested. Please contact the director at info@justchambermusic.com for further information.

  • Faculty assigned to coach the Overture Ensembles will rotate through all of those student groups. 

    Faculty assigned to coach the Conservative Ensembles will rotate through all of those student groups.

  • JCM meets for 8 days during 2 consecutive weeks. The 2026 dates are: June 15-18 and June 22-25. 

    All coaching, rehearsals and concert (June 15-18 and June 22-25) will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 E. Stuart St., Fort Collins, CO 80525.

    Overture Ensembles meet from 2:00-4:00 pm

    Conservatory Ensembles meet from 4:00-7:30 pm

    Daily Attendance is required for the duration of the student’s assigned Ensemble time and for the entire concert.
